Survivor Philippines: Episode 6. Crazy Trades!

It’s rare that on Survivor, after all these years, something can happen that you’ve never seen before. Well, thanks to Jonathan Penner, that occurred this week! See what I thought of Jonathan’s crazy deal in my weekly reality nation article here:

Jonathan is awesome! I love watching Survivor with you in Beijing and my Q and A with you this week about your life lessons was so insightful! Thanks for sharing with me and my readers!

I was surprised no one on the Tadang tribe thought, in the moment, to change the conditions of the challenge such as go to one-on-one match-ups (instead of three-on-three) for the score. Maybe someone did, maybe the ball is too heavy for just one person, or maybe it’s against the rules but it would seem harder to reach a stalemate in an one-on-one situation during that challenge.

Eliza, how are you able to post to Facebook and Twitter (I follow you in both places) with the Great Firewall? When I was in Beijng and Shanghai in 2009, you couldn’t get anywhere near it (or CNN’s or the BBC’s websites). Have the restrictions been lifted?

I actually have a VPN which (sometimes) enables me to log on to blocked sites in China! I’m only on intermittently, though. Thankfully I have Instagram through which I can post remotely to facebook & twitter so people can still see what I’m up to!
